Branding and identity

Identity with enough structure to stay alive.

Reino creates brand identities that connect strategic intent to a visual and verbal system people can recognize, use and extend.

Branding engagements can cover discovery, positioning support, naming, visual identity, tone of voice, guidelines and launch applications. The work is built as a system rather than a collection of isolated assets, so the same idea can hold across presentations, products, websites, campaigns and motion.

01 — The work

From a strategic premise to a usable system.

A useful identity needs to do more than look distinctive in a launch deck. It must help a team make decisions after the project is over. Reino begins by understanding the business, audience, category and context in which the brand needs to operate.

That understanding becomes a design direction, then a system of elements with clear relationships: symbol, typography, color, imagery, layout, motion and voice. Not every project needs every layer. The scope follows the decisions the brand actually needs to make.

02 — Deliverables

Enough definition to create consistency without freezing the brand.

The final system is documented for the people who will use it — internal teams, agencies, product designers, developers and content partners. Guidelines explain principles and examples, not only rules, so the identity can adapt without losing its character.

  • Discovery and brand context
  • Creative territory and art direction
  • Logo and visual identity system
  • Typography, color, imagery and layout principles
  • Tone of voice and messaging foundations when required
  • Motion principles and launch applications
  • Brand guidelines and organized source files
03 — Connected disciplines

The identity can continue into product, web and motion.

When Reino also designs the digital experience or motion language, fewer decisions are lost between teams. The brand is tested in real interfaces and interactions while the system is still being shaped, which reveals what is robust and what only works in a static presentation.

The studio can also join an identity created by another partner and focus on translating it into digital and motion applications with care.

Questions, answered.

Does Reino work with new brands and rebrands?

Yes. The process can create an identity from the beginning or reorganize an existing brand that no longer reflects the business, audience or range of applications.

Can branding include the website or product interface?

Yes. Reino can carry the identity into UX/UI, website design, product design and motion so the brand is tested and expressed in real use.

Do you deliver brand guidelines?

Yes. The format and depth depend on the team that will use the system, but the goal is always to leave clear principles, examples and organized source files.
