Bright Flag is a full-service recruiting firm specializing in transportation and logistics, helping FedEx, Amazon, and independent carriers hire drivers, mechanics, and back-office support. Founded by someone who operated FedEx Ground businesses, the company brings operational knowledge that generic staffing agencies simply don’t have.
The objective was to redesign a website that no longer reflected the company Bright Flag had become, and to build a digital presence capable of communicating its scale, specialization, and role within a larger ecosystem of logistics brands.
Bright Flag had grown significantly since its early days. The gap between what the business had become and how it presented itself online was real and visible. When the Referent agency brought us in, the brief was clear: Bright Flag needed a site that felt like an industry leader.
The project was part of a broader branding initiative involving Waypoint, Go HQ, and Bright Flag itself, which meant the redesign also had to work as a coherent piece within a family of brands. Visual consistency, shared language, and complementary positioning were all part of the equation from day one.
We rebuilt the experience around clarity and confidence. The layout became cleaner, the hierarchy more intentional, and the content was restructured to guide two very different audiences, contractors looking to hire and candidates looking for work, without conflating the two.
Because Bright Flag is fundamentally a people business, we made the human element central to the design. Real faces, warmer imagery, and a visual language that communicates approachability alongside authority. In a market where most competitors look like directories or software tools, feeling human became a genuine differentiator.
We also invested in the details that make a site feel alive: subtle image animations, considered typography, careful spacing, and a logo animation that gives the brand a moment of personality on arrival. Each decision reinforces the sense that there is intention and care behind this company. That’s the brand proving its own promise.
